Dr. Virginia Green has joined the Marrero Psychology clinical team.
Trained in Depth Psychology from at Pacifica Graduate Institute, Dr. Green is a Psychological Assistant under the supervision of Dr. Marrero-Howieson. In California, psychological assistants may practice psychology under supervision while accruing hours towards my license as an independent practictioner.
With over 15 years of clinical experience, Dr. Green is no novice. Prior to continuing her education to become a psychologist, Dr. Green worked as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern.
Dr. Green's approach is Cognitively-based and Solution-oriented initially. As sessions progress, she shifts into more depth work. She believes strongly in the importance of creating a strong, supportive relationship with her clients. She has additional expertise with Drug- and Alcohol-related issues and Grief Counseling.
